Hi, I'm Anita Nandi

I'm currently a Principal Data Scientist at Trilateral Research.

My background is in Physics and Data Science. I've spend a lot of time dealing with data in a variety of forms and contexts, in research and industry. I've worked with lots of different methods and technologies. I also like to make random websites and games, some of which are still active and are linked to below.

A recipe website, with nothing but simple, concise, clear recipes - no life stories in sight. There's built in timers and you can stop your screen from turning off!

Play backgammon against different strategies of varying difficulty!

A range of articles I have written about a variety of scientific topics including particle physics, malaria, gemome editing, fusion and many more!

A word game (which can be played on a video call or in person) where everyone has to give clues to the same word without letting the Chameleon guess what the word is

A software package written in R for disaggregation modelling. Initially developed for spatial modelling of malaria.

Python course previously delivered as workshops to introduce you to the basics of python, demonstrate its usability for data exploration, manipulation and visualisation

Simple python module to play single player battleships on the command line

What should you do with the toilet seat after going to the toilet? Traditionally people have thought that men should not leave the toilet seat up, but put it down when they have finished. Is this the best strategy? Is this fair?
